MELBOURNE FASHION WEEK
For the past five years, En Pointe has designed and executed the guest experience and creative theming for Melbourne Fashion Week.
In 2021, during the second year of the pandemic, we successfully created a COVID-safe festival that supported local suppliers and hosted runway shows across multiple sites in Melbourne’s CBD. Our team hand-picked suppliers who had been affected by the pandemic, ensuring they could deliver outstanding products and services.
This multi-location, week-long festival is reimagined every year, with En Pointe designing cohesive and flexible guest arrival spaces and VIP lounges across the varying venues with each location reflecting the festival’s brand messaging and colour guide.
En Pointe has been a valued creative partner of the Melbourne Fashion Week (M/FW) program for several years, delivering bespoke creative theming and styling across our premium runway and corporate hospitality lounge programs. Their expertise in environmental design and event styling has truly elevated the overall aesthetic and atmosphere of signature M/FW events and experiences.

Known as the most iconic Melbourne Foodie event and additionally, the new kid on the block: World’s Longest Lunch and Brunch.
It takes an army to create the World’s Longest Lunch and we are tasked with executing it twice (Lunch and Brunch). Over two consecutive days, we create two completely different events, with the only commonality being the tables and chairs!
For the past six years, En Pointe has been tasked with creating a uniquely Melbourne experience that reflects the ethos of each year's chefs at this annual event. We handle the creative concept, overall styling and detailed preparations, including tablescapes, menu design, floral arrangements, media walls, roving musicians, and furniture. The two days include execution and pack down, as well as the direction and supervision of multiple suppliers. The result is an elevated and refined event that receives much acclaim and positive media attention.

MELBOURNE FOOD & FESTIVAL QUEEN VICTORIA MARKET FESTIVAL HUB
Celebrating the festival's 30th anniversary, Melbourne Food and Wine hosted a week-and-a-half-long event at the Queen Victoria Markets. Each day and night, we transformed the market space with themed interior designs and interactive elements, providing a multi-sensory experience for guests.
The program included diverse events such as a family-friendly pasta fair called The Big Spaghetti, a rock 'n' roll celebration of plant-based eating and drinking named Welcome to the Jungle, an all-you-can-eat hot chip party, and Snacktown which showcased the city's best snacks and bites under one roof.
With over 150,000 visitors over a 17-day long program, the Now or Never Festival was a feast for the eyes and ears and featured pioneering audio and visual art, performances and digital culture.
En Pointe created ‘The Odyssey’, a futuristic portal featuring infinity illusion walls which led to the Neversphere, a space filled with oversized orbs and a 360-degree mirrored lounge bar. A giant pink monolithic structure stood tall as the festival signifier. The custom-built structure could be seen from afar and allowed for event branding and social media sharing.
Santa’s Workshop at Howey Place was an interactive experience where guests were treated to the ultimate Christmas experience and ended with a meet and greet with Santa.
The Workshop comprised of a custom shop fit out, where we transformed a dilapidated former clothing store front into a magical space that Santa called ‘home’ for a month. Featuring custom freestanding walls, draping, window decals, carpet flooring, fairy lights and a custom-soundscape, the space was transformed and provided a multi-sensory experience for children and adults alike. Catering to the fantasy aspect of Christmas, the installation included magical elements such as a Christmas clock, moving trains, a nutcracker conveyor belt, Elf workbench, styled toy shelves, Christmas trees and a North Pole communication centre.
